Some big names like Pritish Nandi,Sashi tharoor,Anand Mahindra regulalry send 140 character messages called "tweets".These are really interesting.
My twitter username or "Handle" as it is called is 'raaapi'.
Then in firefox you can install an addon called 'echofon' or 'twitterfox' which will open up a small window on the side of your firefox main window and update you with any new tweets from people you follow.
