I remember a saying that my mom used to say: "aadara maada aadi dhaan karakanam..paadara maada paadi dhaan karakanam!".Definitely,its high time the silent Hindus take up a slightly different form of defense.This was well portrayed in Anniyan,but then there was no Hindu-Muslim element in it.Within the Hindus themselves there is large scale oppression and struggle for dominance,which somehow puts the Hindu-Muslim angle out of the picture.Right from movies to art and literature,the brahmin community is repeatedly portrayed as losers just because they don't fight back and stay silent whatever happens.I just can't imagine the bloody Simbu donning the role of a muslim and making fun of their antics,while it is so easy for him to take up the role of a brahmin in his next movie and make fun left and right!I guess Hindus,especially the brahmins have taken the easiest and well tested path of just ignoring and going ahead with their personal interests.Its been time tested that whatever the dravidan governments/politicians and film artists come up with to oppress them,they have a way around it to escape the oppression!
