Hearing the word mentioned in the title,everybody nowadays starts thinking lots of things.There was a time when Amma only brot thots of one's mom only..But being in Tamilnadu,the word has an entirely different connotation.It represents the majestic chief mnister of TN.Its always flabbergasting as to how she could maintain such a queen like status ,even after been almost openly exposed of her illegal dealings/corruption!
The tamilian population which votes is indeed a brainless bunch.

By the way,I am enjoying my stay at coimbatore;accompanying amma(hey...my dear mom folks)everywhere she goes.I went to the market with her to buy vegetables.I went to the jewellery store where she has some monthly payments which is called "chit".I am reliving good old times when I used to accompany her holding her hand through the crowded lanes.Its the same feeling now except that I do the payment now!Spending quality time with appa,talking abt share markets/economy/banks etc is interesting.
Planning to visit a couple of relatives in the coming days.Eventhough sn\mall glimpses of boredom are seeming imminent,I think its worth it to be with amma and appa.
The only person I miss is my ltl sister chitra..shes busy with her 3rd Year ,MBBS..Hope to spend sometime with her too..
